LITTLE WINS | AUGUST 3–7 💚 Some weeks aren’t about one giant breakthrough. They’re about showing up enough times that eventually the breakthrough has somewhere to land. This week was one of those weeks. Over 100 doors. I prospected more than 100 places for work this week. Some conversations lasted a few seconds. Others opened doors. Most won’t turn into anything immediately. But that’s prospecting. You don’t know which conversation becomes the one that changes something. You just keep knocking. A meeting in Jersey City. I sat down at Ed & Mary’s to talk about potentially working together. It’s one meeting. One opportunity. Nothing is guaranteed. But somebody giving you their time and sitting across from you to discuss doing business together is progress—and I’m learning to appreciate those moments instead of only celebrating the final result. MEAT kept growing. Behind the scenes, I continued developing ideas for MEAT Hospitality Group. Thinking about what we’re building, what hospitality can become, how people connect, and how we can create something that actually gives people something back. Some of the biggest progress right now isn’t something everyone can see yet. It’s an idea becoming clearer. A sentence finally making sense. Another piece connecting to the one before it. And then realizing: We’re getting closer. That’s what Little Wins has always been about. Not pretending every week is incredible. Not waiting until you’ve “made it” to appreciate progress. It’s recognizing the hundred doors you knocked on, the meeting you earned, the idea you kept developing—and understanding that those things count too. Because eventually, one of those little wins becomes something much bigger. Until then: Keep showing up. 💚 We’ll be okay. Just Keep MEATing. |
