Little Wins: Building, Refining, Moving Forward

LITTLE WINS

August 17–21, 2026

BUILDING. REFINING. MOVING FORWARD.

This week wasn’t about one giant moment.

It was about continuing to build the pieces around MEAT and making the vision clearer, more useful, and more real.

MEAT KEPT GETTING CLEARER

We continued shaping what MEAT is supposed to become:

A platform that helps people organize their lives, take action, connect with others, and get rewarded for actually participating in the real world.

The idea keeps getting simpler at the center:

MEAT exists to make people’s lives better.

Everything else we build has to support that.

REWARD PEOPLE FOR LIVING

One of the biggest ideas we continued developing this week was simple:

MEAT rewards you for living.

Not for staring at another screen.

For taking the First Step.
Completing something you’ve been putting off.
Working toward a goal.
Showing up somewhere.
Connecting with somebody.
Actually doing something.

That continues to shape how we think about MEAT Points, experiences, community, and the future app.

ANOTHER POSSIBLE DOOR FOR DINNER 2

While continuing to think about the next MEAT dinner, another hospitality relationship opened up.

A Mediterranean restaurant owner I met through everyday prospecting had previously offered her space and has relationships with chefs.

It was another reminder that sometimes opportunity doesn’t arrive through some giant introduction.

Sometimes it happens because you kept talking to people.

One conversation can create the next possibility.

DINNER 2 STAYS MOVING

Purple Tongue remains part of the plan, with the goal of reconnecting after Peter returns from his trip.

The bigger lesson has been not allowing one venue, one person, or one timeline to control the progress of MEAT.

If one door takes longer, keep building relationships with the others.

THE BRAND BECAME MORE REAL

We also continued putting the physical business pieces together.

MEAT Hospitality Group business cards were finalized and made print-ready this week.

It sounds small.

But every one of those pieces matters.

A website.
A card.
A conversation.
A dinner.
A new connection.

Eventually they stop looking like separate little things and start looking like a company.

THE LESSON THIS WEEK

You don’t always see momentum while you’re inside of it.

Sometimes momentum looks like another conversation.

Another revision.

Another introduction.

Another small piece becoming clearer than it was yesterday.

That still counts.

Keep building.
Keep refining.
Take the First Step.
Just Keep MEATing.
💚

Last week reminded me that sometimes progress doesn’t arrive as one giant breakthrough. It comes from a bunch of little moments that start connecting. 💚 An Opportunity From Portugal One of the coolest moments of the week was meeting with the team behind Grandma’s Table, an early supper club concept from Portugal interested in potentially bringing an experience to New York. Even crazier? They told me they discovered MEAT Hospitality Group through ChatGPT. We had a great conversation about our...

LITTLE WINS | AUGUST 3–7 💚 Some weeks aren’t about one giant breakthrough. They’re about showing up enough times that eventually the breakthrough has somewhere to land. This week was one of those weeks. Over 100 doors. I prospected more than 100 places for work this week. Some conversations lasted a few seconds. Others opened doors. Most won’t turn into anything immediately. But that’s prospecting. You don’t know which conversation becomes the one that changes something. You just keep...

WE’LL BE OKAY. Sometimes a few simple words find you at exactly the right moment. We’ll be okay. Not because everything is perfect. Not because every plan works. And definitely not because we know exactly what comes next. We’ll be okay because there is always another person to meet, another conversation to have, another idea to explore, and another first step to take. That idea has been sitting with me. Because when I think about what we’re building at MEAT Hospitality Group, that’s really...
